More on food.
La Grande Épicerie in Paris is a place of food dreams. All of your wildest food dreams can be realized by a short stop here. Rose nectar; Thai, Indian, Moroccan (and anywhere else) spices; fruit marshmallows; cheeses, cheeses, cheeses; really excellent sushi rolls; peanut butter and microwave popcorn - and evidently, so much more.
Food is organized in section by country - the largest being, rightfully, la belle France. Italy has a nice section and even Mexico is represented. I always teehee a little walking by the section with the sign hanging above, 'Etats-Unis/Canada.' It sits there like a sore thumb - with cartoonish packaging, pancake mix and canned pork and beans. Funny.

Emilie,
Just wanted to drop a note and let you know I LOVE your blog. I find myself waking up in the morning, grabbing a cup of coffee and reading your latest entry. Your photos are fabulous, really, and your writing is great as well. This time in my life, as a stay at home mom and adjusting to my new role, I love that your blog takes me somewhere completely different than where I am at, just for a while. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to future stories and photos.
