I was contacted by a travel writer for a Paris site who wanted me to write a little ditty and compile some of my own favorite photos of Paris. The link to see which of my photos I chose is here at Paris Travel Guide:

I must thank my cousin Alisa Linton who took the opening photo featuring Xavier and me, and Chris Melton who took the profile photo of me.

Hi Emilie !
This is a fantastic blog -interesting, well-written and with very elegant photos- that I've been reading for a while. Having just moved to Paris myself from the US to be with my Parisian boyfriend, it is reassuring to read about other experiences similar to my own. Even though we all dream of Paris, spend short periods of time here traveling or researching, the transition here for the long-term is not always as easy as we might imagine. Thanks for your writing.

Emilie, you have a way with words that draws the reader to your side and engages them with your charming perspective. It was only a matter of time before someone asked you to share it on a larger scale. I'm so glad so many will be able to see the world through your eyes!

I don't know which has the most sparkle, La Tour Eiffel or that little girl's megawatt smile? ***great***. Who can possibly resist the siren call of Paris - ?

Em,
How wonderful that you are blessed with this gift from God. It is your keen sense of wonder in all that He gives that makes it extraordinary. We love visiting Paris with you in this way, but long to be with you in person even more. Love you!
