My boy's concoction, which I do not understand and which I never partake in, but which he insists on brewing all the time and then storing in bowls in the fridge.

I'm totally delighted with all of these posts! I love your family like crazy. I'm also not a fan of flan, but Xavier's flan does look lovely in the colored bowls. Uncle Rob would be so proud! Love you Em.
uncle rob likes flan too! yuck! he ehe.
Hi Emilie! I love your blog, it's fun and informative. I also love the bowls and must have some for my very own. Where did you get them? Amy
amy - good to hear! you can buy the bowls at anthropologie - i think there is one in salt lake now - or online. xavier bought them. he is super cool like that. he picks out plenty of stellar things for the kitchen...
Sorry Emilie,
On this one I have to agree with Xavier. Good flan is to die for!
You must acquire a taste for it.
Also -- how cool to have a Frenchman for a husband whose initial is "X" (as in XOXOXO)
Frenchman = Love = X
How can you go wrong!
Love, Chrys
