So glad---> Mr. Obama.

(photo here)

(...although this is still 6 months late...)

"The behavior of the U.S. side seriously interferes in China's internal politics and seriously hurts the national feelings of the Chinese people," statement by Chinese statesman Ma Zhaoxu.

...Meeting with the most peaceful man on the face of the earth has "seriously damaged" ties between China and the US...

Free Tibet.

gosh it makes a person wonder what the Chinese Gov is all about when they are scared or threatened by a simple harmless man. Perhaps its like the shit stain on their carpet that they try to cover up with a rug or with a chair but move it and the stain is there.and they are seriously embarassed by it. I think China is a bit delusional thinking that usa is really at its mercy...maybe we should bring home all the companies who've set up camp over there. It might be the solution to this economy

true true frank. the tibet situation is so clearly pernicious on the part of the chinese, from any point of view. i'd like the us and other countries to take a firmer stance on things like this.

I am amazed that after these many years China still just couldn't leave Tibet alone. Tibet never was a part of China. It is true that China has been delusional about many things... Keep in mind though that the US is much indebted to China nowadays...and Politics is not as pure as it seems. We are yet to see how the politics of the two countries will play out as China is becoming the economic super power.

PS:Just want to say, it's true that the US has set up companies in China, but partly was for their own gain as well. There are astounding talents in China, companies thrive there. And the Chinese people knows how to work 10x as hard. We must try to see things from both sides.
