The Cooper Hewitt Museum just recently reopened after a glorious renovation. It is full of great design (both the original Carnegie Mansion and exhibitions), models and interactive displays, including a "process lab"...which all combine to create perfect conditions for a weekend morning for a 3-year old in wintery Manhattan. We went with lovelies Meredith and Jordan and had such a time.

We stepped off the elevator and faced this amazing display of hanging "bricolage-ry" (according to Miss C). She exclaimed, "Wow, that is magical!" to the guards' delight.

Our own line drawings projected on the walls.

Meredith and Colette maneuvering the art.

Just taking a rest.

Hey, Shirley Temple.
