The weekend also included a tarriance to the grand château down the road in Angers. Marguerite was determined to make mischief. She could smell it in the air - the moment was right. So she ran around the place like she owned it, like the Romans and then Catherine de' Medici did long before (I'll bet that gal made a lot of mischief in general).
Looking at the first photo in the series -- without reading your text -- I wondered if I was seeing a series of decaying cooling towers from an old nuclear reactor. A chateau is much more interesting!
