Weekend in Baugé.
Remember Baugé? Since both Xavier and I are working in Paris this week and next, it was the perfect weekend for a family reunion at Baugé.
Brilliant sun. Perfect sun all weekend long.
For fun we played games, chatted with the sunshine pulsing all around and the family requested that I pronounce certain things. Things like: la grenouille ruinée ronronne dans la rue au soleil en famille. If you are French or a non-French native who speaks French, this is amusing. (More amusing for the former).
Xavier pulled this "jumper" out of the chest of drawers where he keeps clothes from his past and informed me that he only purchased it because it displays his birth year. I think he really likes it.

It is indeed pretty hard not to brag about this wonderful piece of fashion...
Emilie, your photos satisfy a visual appetite for France, life, and love that I didn't know was so in need of feeding. Thank you for sharing your beauty!
LOVE that pic of you two!
My grandmother (also called Marguerite, btw), though born and raised in the US, grew up speaking French and to this day has a thick French Canadian accent. Long story short, she was in South Carolina and people would come for miles to hear her say the word "chicken."
sheeken, j'adore
thanks karen!
