yes, i thought so too, until my mother and i were driving in tacoma and apparently, the pink elephant car wash is ubiquitous. she pointed others out and told me that it is a regular site around those parts. ah well.
ah yes, a car wash chain. i too was disappointed when my friend alerted me to its commonplace reality. and i was so tickled--what a way to dash my discovery. perhaps i should have known. funny how quickly it loses its magic and becomes...trashy, perhaps?
