Lavender Fields.

The symbol of this region of France - lavender. We walked down the street from the little village where we were staying - Lardiers - and found fields of lavender flanking every side. We entered the rows of lavender on one end and all ran toward the middle. Romy stood there, wide-eyed, looking around - head cocked just a bit listening to the hum of the bees and scrunching up her nose, sniffing the air. Totally in wonder.

Colette went a little bit nuts, which was understandable - the experience was all-sensory - a lot to take in.
