Snow day.

New York City shut down this week...always melodramatic, especially when the big storm never even really landed here. No work, all play and so we were delighted to get a free day to soak up these two. The whole neighborhood flocked to the hill just in front and we joined them...

When Romy woke up, we went in and scooped her up. Miss beauty was gratified to stand, looking out at the sledders - awing and marveling.

I am a longtime reader of your blog and I really enjoy reading about your adventures and your family. After reading this post, I just wanted to throw in a word of caution about stating on a public blog that your child has been left at home alone, especially since your location is pretty easy to determine based on the photos. I say this both as an early childhood educator and as a mom of a toddler, I believe in being overly cautious when it comes to information about children and the internet and safety, as well as when it comes to leaving your child alone in the house, no matter how close by you may be.

You are actually too late...Romy was taken away by two little ewoks dressed like homeless people.
