Hitchhiking from Aix-en-Provence to Saint-Aygulf in the South of France.
That is our plan. Our train arrives in Aix at 8:42pm. To Saint-Aygulf by midnight. Hitchhiking 120 kilometers.
This weekend is the grand national holiday - the 14 juillet - and every vehicle in France was rented when we made our last minute plans to head to the mediterranean (Xavier's family have a house in Saint-Aygulf). Notwithstanding, this little blockage is not going to stop us.

If we don't return, we are stuck (we don't even have return train tickets - there were none to be had). There could be far worse fates.
