They are in piles now - winter is gathering and NYC has turned cold. The decamping leaves make me jittery - the cold too. The trees blossomed the day Colette was born (I was anxious to leave the hospital because I felt
I was missing the transformation). The trees will be bald and barren in January when this baby arrives - bleak. Makes me nervous.
