The welcome. (What a lovely and thoughtful way to be received! This is a Tarte Tropézienne...a specialty of St. Tropez).
The apartment. (It is there, on this street. Just to the right is the sea).
The scooter. (Took my colleague home with me on it tonight and we could hardly make it up some of the hills in this town! I think I terrified her...).

I'm glad to see you're back in France, Emilie. Your St. Tropez looks lovely...is it just for the summer?

Looks like a charming neighborhood. I know you are wearing your helmet on that scooter! Glad you are getting settled! Hugs. Mom
Well, I wouldn't say I was "terrified" - it was more like I was thinking to myself, "Wow, my last words on this earth are going to be 'WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!'
You are a very careful driver, m'dear, and I did appreciate your driving like an old lady! ^__^
Oh good Daniele, so glad. (and she got back on it this morning!)
Mom- definitely wearing my helmet...always.
Shelli - St Tropez until mid-august...yippee!
Wow, Emilie, how wonderful. Enjoy.
Do you have to pinch yourself every morning to remember this is real???
